Michele Lu, a 21 year old singer-songwriter based in LA, is a truthful storyteller and a fierce performer.Lu specializes in alternative pop music and enjoys writing honest and heartfelt lyrics. She has often been described to have “an acrobatic vocal ability” that won her the title of a YoungArts Finalist in 2020.

Lu has years of performance experience gathered from attending a performing arts high school - OCSA, and now attending the University of Southern California as a songwriting major. Outside of school, she is a sought after studio musician that frequently collaborates with companies like Sony,CBS, and Brandy Melville.

And of course, she gigs around town! Lu’s first love in life was performance, you could always find her standing on top of tables at age 5 and belting out the newest Hannah Montana song. Today, you can find her on stage at lively house shows around USC, or venues such as the Moroccan Lounge and the Mint in LA.

Lu released her first single “Seattle” in May of 2021. She described the experience as “the most liberating and scary thing, it’s the most truthful I’ve ever been about heartbreak”. Since then, she recently released her highly anticipated second single “Shotgun” this May, and has more to come soon.
